7 Courses Required

This certificate is brought to you by the Centre for Indigegogy.

Designed with both Indigenous and non-Indigenous practitioners in mind, the Wholistic Healing Practices & Colonial Trauma (WHP) certificate helps participants build a decolonizing practice lens and a wholistic practice toolkit. This certificate was developed with the desire to give practitioners and helpers the knowledge and skills to decolonize their practice while also offering wholistic healing practices.

Decolonization means understanding the historical and present structural violence that is at the root of trauma in Indigenous communities. Understanding trauma from a decolonial lens is essential for practitioners working with Indigenous people, and it is necessary for developing a wholistic practice that respectfully, meaningfully, and appropriately responds to colonial trauma.

To be eligible for the full certificate, participants must complete 84 hours, including the mandatory modules 1, 2, and 4.

In an effort to keep the Wholistic Healing Practices and Colonial Trauma Certificate more accessible to community practitioners, we have kept our programming fees lower than our other certificates. Therefore, we are not offering discounts on this certificate.
