Course Description

Hours: 12

The art of excellent clinical work lies in our ability to ask questions, the kinds of questions that immediately create change and engage our clients in reflection long after the session ends. Good questions gather important information, bring forth context, uncover patterns, highlight and deconstruct oppressive dynamics, create new futures and most importantly engage clients – individuals, couples, families and groups - in change. This Professional Development course will explore and practice the art and skill of asking good therapeutic questions and build our repertoires of forms and types of questions to ask no matter the context in which we work or the position we hold.
