0501 - Counselling Women Through Menopause
Course Description
Menopause, occurring typically between the ages of 45 and 55, marks a profound life transition for women, bringing a host of physical, emotional and psychological changes. Counselling is crucial in supporting women through this period, providing strategies to manage symptoms and enhance overall well-being. Menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, anxiety and sleep disturbances can significantly impact daily life. Counselling offers a supportive environment to express experiences, understand changes and develop effective coping strategies.
This workshop will equip clinicians with the knowledge and skills necessary to support women during menopause. It will be led by experienced care professionals and cover the physiological, psychological, and emotional aspects of menopause. Participants will learn evidence-based space counselling techniques, symptom management strategies, and holistic approaches to client care. Through cases, studies, interactive role-playing and expert discussions, clinicians will enhance their ability to compassionately and effectively support women experiencing menopause. Join us to improve client outcomes and professional confidence in handling this critical life stage.
