Course Description

Hours: 12

This workshop is designed for clinicians seeking to deepen their understanding and clinical skills in supporting clients struggling with sleep disturbances and insomnia. Participants will explore the science of sleep, common causes of disrupted sleep patterns and the psychological and physiological mechanisms underlying insomnia.

Clinicians will learn effective behavioral and cognitive interventions grounded in evidence-based approaches including CBT-I (cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia). The course will offer practical tools, therapeutic techniques and tailored strategies to address a range of sleep-related challenges across diverse client populations.

By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with greater confidence and a comprehensive toolkit to help clients achieve more restorative sleep and improved overall well-being.
