Participants will be introduced and consider how colonial policies have played their part in the Cultural Genocide of Indigenous Peoples.

Participants will begin to acknowledge how Canada’s policies have contributed negatively to social indicators of health and well-being in Indigenous communities.

Participants will build an understanding of the systemic and structural indicators of colonialism and how it continues to inflict harm on Indigenous communities.

Participants will use circle methodology to envision wholistic healing practices in the contexts of colonial trauma and how colonization has impacted Indigenous people’s emotional, spiritual, mental and physical beings.
