Discover and begin using some of the most evidence-based interventions in the field of psychotherapy. In this course you will learn why cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) is one of the most widely recognized and highly reputable psychotherapy models, and you will leave prepared to use a few of the most core and life changing interventions this model offers. Additionally, you will be equipped with several tools to help clients immediately begin seeing a shift and alleviation of symptoms of depression and anxiety, in both adult and child populations. This course will use a variety of adult learning methods including the use of lecture, live and video demonstrations, handouts and live coaching for competencies practice.
