Course Description

TriAGe is a non-credit course designed to help prepare students who plan to enrol in an entry-level university calculus course by reinforcing fundamental skills in Trigonometry, Algebra, and Geometry.

Topics include:

  • algebraic manipulations used to simplify expressions and solve equations and inequalities;
  • analytic geometry;
  • polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions.

An experienced instructor will guide you through these topics and discuss specific learning strategies to help you with the transition from high school mathematics to university expectations. A final assessment will be provided to students who complete a set of assignments and an end-of-course evaluation.

Course access will open June 24th.

Students can complete the TriAGe course content at your own pace, on your own time. We suggest you give yourself at least four weeks to complete the course material. Coure must be completed by the date of the Final Evaluation, August 27th.

TriAGe content can be completed fully online by students. Synchronous sessions will be available to support with further exploration and understanding of the material. Synchronous sessions are optional and will be provided online.
