Course Description

This workshop is aimed at people who need to use project management skills and tools but who aren’t project managers. Participants interested in learning about project management at an introductory level, or who have been asked to manage a project but don’t really know how, will benefit from this workshop. This workshop provides an introduction to the components, processes, tools and activities for planning, implementing and managing a project. We will emphasize the use of practical approaches and tools for participants to be able to use once they have completed the workshop. Participants will be expected to incorporate a mix of group and individual work throughout the two-day workshop.

To maximize relevance, participants are encouraged to bring examples of projects they have managed and/or current/future projects.
