Supervision is a dynamic and evolving process. Understanding what directs our clinical practice with clients and supervisees is critical to the development of each supervisor’s philosophy and processes of supervision. In this two-day workshop, participants will explore the theories that are foundational to clinical supervision and the models that provide a pathway of how to intervene. The workshop will engage participants in identifying the clinical theories that direct their practice and how these theories are used to support the processes of supervision connected to various models of therapy and supervision such as: systems, transgenerational, emotion centered, integrative and post-modern. Participants will be invited to engage in a variety of collaborative, interactive and reflective activities and discussions using supervision processes and case scenarios to support their learning.
Pre-approved for 12 CCPA continuing education credits.
