Course Description

Hours: 12

This course is built on the premise that, “...above all, a trusting human relationship is essential to supervision’s various teaching and learning functions...", (Bernard et Al., 2014, pg. 64). Participants in this course will explore key concepts in the development and maintenance of strong supervisory relationships and how to leverage and maintain these concepts while building the relationship, giving feedback, managing conflict and navigating change. This course is highly engaging and relies heavily on live demonstration, video observation, case work and large and small group conversation.
