Course Description

Hours: 12

This workshop focuses on common ethical and legal issues in the practice of clinical supervision, including supervisor and supervisee rights and responsibilities, informed consent and confidentiality in supervision, dual relationships and conflicts of interest, supervisor liability, documentation in clinical supervision, and ethical and legal issues in College mandated remedial supervision. Consideration will also be given to the potential ethical implications related to the integration of AI into practice and supervision. Emphasis will be placed on the development of strong, detailed supervision contracts, and equally strong supervisory relationships.
