Course Description

This eight week (40 hour) course will provide an in depth look at using the IFS model across various themes with others, such as interpersonal attachment, relational wounding and working with parts through “trailheads” in the body. You will also learn how to form a strong self-led connection with your clients, which is a critical aspect of the IFS model.

  1. A 90 minute mandatory orientation where you will prepare for the course by:
  • Meeting the support staff.
  • Discussing the structure, flow and methods of the course.
  • Discussing assignments and evaluation.
  • Addressing psychological safety/bravery in our classroom.
  • Asking questions to ensure you fully understand the requirements to successfully complete the course.
  1. 14 hours of online, self-directed learning.
  2. 25.5 days of mandatory remote classes (through Zoom).
  3. Supervised practice groups (through Zoom).
  4. A final assignment with both professional and reflective practice exercises.
